Hollywood star Tom Hanks says he and his wife, singer-songwriter Rita Wilson are back home in the US after undergoing self-quarantine in Australia. The Oscar winner on Saturday took to social media to share an update. “We’re home now, and like the rest of America, we carry on sheltering place and social distancing,” Hanks, 63, tweeted Saturday. The couple, who tested positive for the novel coronavirus in February, spent a week in isolation at a hospital in the state of Queensland in Australia.

Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor on Saturday said the state and central governments should let the licensed liquor shops operate in the evening during the 21-day lockdown period. In a Twitter post, the actor said liquor is a major source of revenue for the government and is already being sold illegally everywhere in the country. “Think. Government should for sometime in the evening open all licensed liquor stores. Don’t get me wrong. Man will be at home only what with all this depression, uncertainty around.
