Singer Rihanna has had enough of album queries. She has built a beauty and fashion empire. But, fans often ask about her ninth album and whether she will release it soon or not.

This past weekend, Rihanna did Instagram live and got fed up with fans who kept asking about the album. “If one of y’all motherf**kers asks me about the album one more time when I’m trying to save the world, unlike y’all president…,” she said.

Well, the singer has been working hard towards helping those in need amid the Coronavirus pandemic. Her foundation Clara Lionel Foundation and Twitter CEO Dorsey have pledged to donate $2.1 million each for a total donation of $4.2 million to the Mayor’s Fund for Los Angeles. The joint fund will provide shelter to them for 10 weeks including meals and counseling for individuals and their children suffering from domestic violence.

Rihanna’s foundation Clara Lionel Foundation recently donated $5 million to the response efforts as the world fights the global pandemic. Named after her grandparents Lionel and Clara, the foundation will channel through CLF’s partners at Direct Relief, Partners In Health, World Health Organization’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund, Feeding America, the International Rescue Committee, and others.

Actor Don Cheadle says Marvel Studios gave him two hours to decide on whether he wanted to take up the role of War Machine in Robert Downey Jr. starrer Iron Man 2. The actor spoke to The A.V. Club recently and revealed how he was at his kid’s laser tag party when the studio called him.

“I was actually at my kid’s birthday party—a laser tag party—and I got a call from my agent, and they said, ‘Hey, so I want to connect you to these Marvel guys. They want to talk to you, but they want to offer you the part.’ I don’t think it was [Kevin] Feige. I don’t know who was on the phone,” Cheadle revealed.

“But they said, ‘Hey, this is the role. We want you to do this. It’s a six-picture deal.’ I was like, ‘What?! Oh, uh, okay…’ And I’m trying to do the math. I’m like, ‘That’s 11 or 12 years. I’m not sure.’ And they’re like, ‘Well, we need to know, because if you’re not saying yes, then we’re gonna move on to the next person. So you’ve got an hour'”, he further revealed.

“An hour to decide 12 years, and a role and parts that I don’t even know, in movies that are coming down that I have no idea what they’ll be,” Cheadle continued. “I said, ‘I’m at my kid’s laser tag party right now.’ They said, ‘Oh! Oh, take two hours.’ So generous! So I go back inside, and I’m ducking behind things, playing laser tag, and talking to my wife. I’m like, ‘Should I take a flier on this? Is this something I should do?’ And she said, ‘Well, yeah, I guess so. All things being equal, this is that kind of thing. You’ve never done anything like this before. Big special effects, tent pole, four-quadrant movie. Do you want to do something like this?’ I said, ‘I kind of do.’ She said, ‘Well, then take a flier. Let’s do it. Try it.’”

Don Cheadle starred in Iron Man 2, Iron Man 3, Avengers: Age Of Ultron, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame.

After recovering from COVID-19, veteran actor Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson are doing great. The actor hosted the first episode of Saturday Night Live: Home Edition. Quarantined at home, the actor started his monologue with how weird it was to host SNL from home and opened up with Tiger King reference. “Hey all you cool cats and kittens,” he said. “It’s me, your old pal. Don’t be afraid, this shaved head was just for a movie. My hair is growing back very slowly.”

“Hey, it’s good to be here, though it is also very weird to be here hosting Saturday Night Live from home,” Tom said. “It is a strange time to try to be funny, but trying to be funny is SNL’s whole thing, so we thought, what the heck, let’s give it a shot!”

“But, why me as host?” Tom asked. “Well, for one, I have been the celebrity canary in the coal mine for the coronavirus and ever since being diagnosed I have been more like America’s dad than ever before… since no one wants to be around me very long and I make people uncomfortable.”

“Now I was diagnosed back in March with the coronavirus. I was first diagnosed down in Australia. Now the folks in Australia are fantastic in every way but they use Celsius instead of Fahrenheit when they take your temperature,” he further said. “So, when they come in and they say, ‘You’re 36,’ which seemed very bad to me. But turns out 36 is fine, turns out 38 is bad. So basically it’s how Hollywood treats female actors.”

“But now my wife and I are doing fine, doing great. We’re hunkered down, like all of us should be. In fact, this suit, this is the first time I’ve worn anything other than sweatpants since March 11. My wife had to help me put it on,” he updated about his and his wife’s health.

“Now this Saturday Night Live is going to be a little different. For one thing, it has been filmed entirely by the SNL cast who are currently quarantined in their homes. Also, there’s no such things as Saturdays anymore. Now is it going to look a little different than what you’re used to? Yes. Will it be weird to see sketches without big sets and costumes? Sure. But will it make you laugh? Eh, it’s SNL. There’ll be some good stuff, maybe one or two stinkers, you know the drill,” Hanks added. “But let’s go. Stay safe, we are in this for the duration and we are in this together. And we will get through this together.”

Tom Hanks thanked all the first responders and medical professionals who have been tirelessly working to help those whose lives have been impacted due to Coronavirus.
