In September 2017, Anil Kapoor’s son Harshvardhan Kapoor, who made his debut with Rakesh Omprakash Mehra’s Mirziya, made an announcement that he will be starring in Abhinav Bindra biopic alongside his father Anil. “Beginnings are very special. Especially when you get to play a character that has made the nation proud on the world stage. I am stoked to have been chosen to play #AbhinavBindra and hopefully will do justice to the man, the legend! Like the man himself said, ‘Hard Work is a talent.’ #LetsDoThis,” the actor captioned his photo with Abhinav.
Post that, there was no update on the film for a while. In fact, there were rumours that the film was shelved but soon Anil Kapoor shared an update that the project was on track and will go on floor soon. Anil, who will play the role of Bindra’s father, took to social media on Sunday to share the news that the prep has begun on the film. “The Beginning,” the actor wrote while striking a pose with Harshvardhan and Bindra.

After taking a dip on Saturday, Love Aaj Kal managed to see a marginal rise in numbers on Sunday as Rs. 8.10 crores came in. That has pushed the overall collections to Rs. 28.51 crores.
Of course had this been a double digit number and in the process come closer to the Friday collections of Rs. 12.40 crores, it would have been further good news for the film. The Imtiaz Ali directed film is working primarily at key multiplexes of the A centres and one waits to see how well do these manage to hold on during the weekdays.
Malang stayed fair on its second Sunday as Rs. 3 crores* more came in. The hold is not as strong as everyone associated with the film would have wanted it to have. Nonetheless, the collections have now touched the Rs. 47.40 crores* mark and while Rs. 50 crores would be crossed before the close of second week, one waits to see how much further does the film go from here on.
As for Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior, the film is racing on its own track with Rs. 1.50 crores* further added to its total. Currently standing at Rs. 273.08 crores*, this Ajay Devgn blockbuster is heading for a Rs. 280 crores lifetime.

Bollywood’s Queen Kangana Ranaut, who was last seen in Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s Panga, is all set to wow her fans in her upcoming film Tejas where she dons an air force pilot avatar. Kangana’s first look for the film is out where she is seen wearing a pair of cargo pants and an olive jacket, posing with a helmet in front of an IAF jet. Disney’s Queen Of Katwe actress Nikita Pearl Waligwa has passed away at the age of 15 after battling brain tumour for years. The actress played a memorable role in the Mira Nair directorial. She died at a hospital in Kampala, Uganda.
As per reports, Nikita was in and out of the hospital for years and was battling cancer for three years. As soon as the news about death was revealed, tributes started pouring in for the young actress.
Lupita Nyong’o and David Oyelowo starred in the film. Nikita played the role of Phiona’s friend Gloria who explained chess rules to her. David Oyelowo took to Instagram to express his condolence to the family and her friends. “We mourn the loss of our beautiful Nikita Pearl Waligwa,” he captioned a photo of the actress via Instagram on Sunday. “She was a ball of light in @queenofkatwemovie and in life. Her battle with a brain tumor was humbling to witness. Her light will live on. #rip”
As per reports, director Mira Nair mobilized to help to fund Nikita’s treatment. She was diagnosed with brain tumour in 2016 but was cancer-free since 2017. It was after that that tumour was found again. At the time of her death, the young actress was a high school senior.

This past weekend, Karisma Kapoor shared two pictures on the occasion of her father Randhir Kapoor’s 73rd birthday. The family had a small get together to celebrate his birthday but due to work commitments, Karisma couldn’t be a part of it.
Taking to Instagram, Karisma shared a group photo of the family from the celebration. Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Babita Kapoor, cousin Kunal Kapoor, Rima Jain, and Rajiv Kapoor, among other family members, were in attendance.
