Hopkins has been cast as Cus D’Amato in “Cus and Mike”, based on author Montieth Illingworth’s book “Mike Tyson: Money, Myth, and Betrayal”, reports aceshowbiz.com.

It was earlier reported that Kartik Aaryan will be a part of Anshula Kapoor’s Fankind campaign and the winners will get to make a Tiktok video with the star. Kartik was raising funds for Women’s Cancer Initiative – Tata Memorial Hospital. The amount raised will be used for chemotherapy and the treatment of women battling breast cancer.
Two lucky winners got to meet him yesterday and he was seen teaching them the hook steps of two of his best dance numbers, ‘Haan Main Galat’ from Love Aaj Kal and ‘Dheeme Dheeme’ from Pati Patni Aur Woh. Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan celebrated wrapping up the shoot of his father David Dhawan’s upcoming comedy flick Coolie No 1 with pancakes. The actor took to social media to share the news with fans and called it his “funniest film”. Varun shared a photo on Friday in which he is seen gorging on pancakes for breakfast, with a topping of sliced bananas and chocolate syrup. The photo has been taken in Goa where the actor has flown to with Sara Ali khan to shoot the last segment of the film.

Love Aaj Kal has failed at the box office with only Rs. 36 crores* accumulated in the first week. The film stared well with Rs. 12.40 crores coming on its first day but then post that there were hardly any takers out there. While critics weren’t really kind to the film, audiences too chose to look the other way. As a result, the numbers just didn’t come and now the film would at maximum go through the second week but that’s about it. Theatrically, this one is a huge disappointment.
Malang managed to bring in some numbers in the second week as Rs. 13 crores* more came in. Though ideally the collections should have stayed over the Rs. 15 crores mark as that would have allowed a lifetime of around Rs. 60 crores. That wouldn’t quite turn out to be the case now as the collections so far stand at Rs. 53.50 crores*. The Mohit Suri directed film now should be aiming to close in Rs. 58-59 crores zone and that too would be a fair enough conclusion of the theatrical run.
As for Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior, it would see a touch and go with the Rs. 280 crores milestone. The film collected around Rs. 5 crores* more in the sixth week and that’s impressive all over again. The numbers have now reached Rs. 274.50 crores* and with still some screens and shows been allocated to the film, a lifetime of around Rs. 279-280 crores is on the cards. Blockbuster.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas had announced long ago that she will be portraying the role of Ma Anand Sheela, in her biopic. For those living under the rock, Ma Anand Sheela was the right hand of Bhagwan Rajneesh or Osho and the duo was involved in the biggest bioterror attack in Oregon. The two hailed from India and were quite controversial during their peak days.
While there weren’t any details out about the project, the word is that this Barry Levinson directed project will release on Amazon. The film has been titled as Sheela and Priyanka Chopra Jonas had announced on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that the Oscar-winning director Barry Levinson had approached her for the project and she is super excited for it.
Ma Anand Sheela was Osho’s personal secretary through 1981-1985 and became the word of the town after Wild, Wild Country, a docuseries was released on Netflix.

Katrina Kaif is all set to star in Rohit Shetty’s cop film, Sooryavanshi. The film will reunite Katrina Kaif and Akshay Kumar on-screen and has been quite the talk of the town since its announcement. Katrina will be seen playing the role of a doctor while Akshay Kumar will obviously play the role of Veer Sooryavanshi, the hero cop.
