A new entry is all set to romance Jennifer Winget in Beyhadh 2?

Jennifer Winget surely knows how to woo her fans with her impeccable acting skills and has been doing that for quite a few years. She started off as a child actress and has given us some iconic roles as Dr. Riddhima, Maya Mehrotra, Zoya Siddiqui Hooda, and has reprised her role as Maya Jaisingh yet again with Beyhadh 2. While she has portrayed the anguish and turmoil perfectly, the storyline did not seem to have grabbed the audience’s attention.

A new entry is all set to romance Jennifer Winget in Beyhadh 2

The channel has made an overnight decision to pull the plug on the show and continue it digitally. The Jennifer Winget, Shivin Narang and Ashish Chowdhry starrer show will continue on the channel’s digital platform and the last episode will air on March 13. However, there were also reports that Jennifer’s management had been in talks with the channel regarding her decision to continue to the show since she had signed a contract with the channel and did not wish to continue it digitally. There have been no confirmations from the channel or the actress so far regarding her future with the show.

To make things more interesting, the makers of the show have apparently decided to rope in another lead actor to romance Jennifer Winget. Even though Jennifer Winget’s character is in love and married to Shivin Narang’s character Rudra, the new entrant is supposed to be wooing her with his charm and will spice up the storyline.

The actor said that the kind of stunts he has performed in Sooryavanshi, he used to do similar kind of action back in his 20s and 30s. Recalling the chopper scene in the poster, Akshay Kumar said that he first performed a helicopter stunt back when he was 28. At 52, he has done it again and with the same focus and agility. The actor also said that people have often complained about the VFX in films but they’ve performed 90 % of the stunts and ensured not to use VFX. He said that it is safer to do action now and that Rohit Shetty and his team had worked out every detail including the action scenes.

Akshay Kumar further said that he has a special place for people in uniform since his father was in the army and would proudly wear the uniform. So, in Sooryavanshi, he had a chance to revisit the action genre. He said that when Rohit narrated him the script, he was more than ready to be a part of the cop universe. He said that it is a successful, homegrown universe of heroic police officers.

Sooryavanshi is releasing on March 24, 2020.

In Sooryavanshi, Akshay Kumar is essaying the role of an ATS officer Veer Sooryavanshi. The film will be jointly produced by Rohit Shetty Picturez, Cape Of Good Films and Dharma Productions. The film is produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Aruna Bhatia, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Rohit Shetty.

Sooryavanshi releases on March 24, 2020.

Ek Villain 2: Disha Patani joins John Abraham and Aditya Roy Kapur starrer, film to release on January 8, 2021

Back in September 2019, Bollywood Hungama reported that John Abraham was approached for the sequel of the 2014 revenge saga, Ek Villain. The actor was in talks, at the time, with Mohit Suri. In January 2020, it was confirmed that he will be headlining Ek Villain 2 alongside Aashiqui 2 actor Aditya Roy Kapur. Now, they have found their leading lady in Disha Patani.

Disha Patani, who recently starred opposite Aditya Roy Kapur in Mohit Suri’s Malang, wanted to do more action. Mohit revealed that she was the first one to approach him to say that she wanted to more action, beat up people, perform stunts just like the leading men. She wanted to be a hero. He said that Malang showcased her free-spirited role but this time, she will be an integral part of the film.

Interestingly, Disha Patani will be paired opposite John Abraham instead of Aditya Roy Kapur. Disha will be part of heavy lifting action. The makers are currently looking out for a second leading lady.

Ek Villain 2 will go on the floor later this year and hit the screens on January 8, 2021.
