One of the most favourite couples in Hollywood is Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner. In 2019, the couple got married in two separate ceremonies – one in Las Vegas and the other one in France. The British actress said recently that being married to Joe gave her an incredible sense of security.

But, things weren’t the same always! Sophie Turner, who has starred as Sansa Stark on HBO’s Game Of Thrones for ten years, wasn’t always a fan of the popular Jonas Brothers band. The actress, who is featured of Elle’s April 2020 issue. said that she hated the band. “My friends and I were not Jonas Brothers fans,” she admitted. “There was this band in the U.K. called Busted. They had a hit called ‘Year 3000.’ It was amazing, and we were huge Busted fans. Then the Jonas Brothers covered the song and made it massive. And Busted broke up. We thought it was all the Jonas Brothers’ fault. So we hated them.”

When Joe came to the UK for a tour, he left a DM asking her to hang out. “I was living with my friends in Camden, in a really rough flat — people were always climbing in and out of the windows. When I told my friends, they were like, ‘That’s hilarious. You have to do it! And you have to text us everything he says,” she said.

Recalling her first meet with Joe, she further revealed, “I expected him to show up with security and everything. I thought, ‘He’s gonna be such a d**k. I brought all my guy friends to come with me to meet him because in the back of my mind I still worried that he could be a catfish — or I don’t know what. I just wanted my guy friends with me. I had my rugby boys. I was safe.”

“It was just this local s***ty bar, dirty, with great music and people throwing up everywhere. It was that kind of place. Kind of like the worst, but also kind of the best,” the actress recalled. “He didn’t bring security. He brought a friend, and they drank just as hard as the rest of us. I remember the two of us spending only a couple of minutes on the dance floor, and then we just found a space far in the corner and we just talked. We talked for hours, and hours, and hours. And I was, like, not bored. It wasn’t contrived. It wasn’t small talk — it was just so easy. And soon we were, like, inseparable. I went on tour with him.”

Gushing about her now-husband, Sophie said, “With Joe, I always felt like I was the one who was punching, like, way above my league. And I still feel like that. He’s so handsome, talented, funny, charismatic. I’m really lucky to be with him and have someone like him want to be around me and spend time with me.”

Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas are expecting their first child but the couple is yet to announce it. The actress will be starring in an upcoming thriller, Survive.

Bigg Boss 13 fame, Paras Chhabra is currently looking for a potential bride on a new reality show, Mujhse Shaadi Karoge. He is accompanied by Shehnaaz Gill on the show that is also looking for a groom. While the two have 5 contestants each to pick out from, the show seems to be taking different twists and turns every day. One of the female contestants is Jasleen Matharu who has also appeared on Bigg Boss 12 with Anup Jalota, whom she refers to as her teacher now.

While she’s on the show, she has been getting really close to Mayur Verma and Paras Chhabra is clearly not comfortable with the idea. During last night’s episode, Paras confronted Jasleen and also claimed that it looks like she is clearly in love with Mayur. Jasleen tried to explain things out but Paras was in no mood to listen to her. Jasleen then spoke to Mayur and questioned if she had ever said that she loves him, post which she asked him not to flirt around with her.

You turned 30 on March 2 without any fanfare?
That’s the way I’ve always liked it. I like my birthdays to be working days. My parents did a lot of cakes and balloons and parties for me when I was a child. Now it’s time for me to work hard so I can give them back some of the love they’ve showered on me.

You bought a posh family home a year back?
We are yet to move into it. It’s being done up, furnished and designed for the last one-and-a-half years. We should be able to move into it by the end of this year. This is the home I’ve always dreamt of buying for my parents.

So one room in this dream home for you and Disha Patani?
(laughs) Nothing like that. Sir, where does she come into this family home? No, Disha is a wonderful friend and co-star. I shot a fabulous song with her for Baaghi 3 and we had a terrific time shooting it.

Would Disha be your co-star in your next film Heropanti2?
She could be. We haven’t decided yet on other details. We only have the script and me and of course my director Ahmed Sir (Khan). I am grateful to have a producer like Sajid Nadiadwala who has believed in me from the beginning. I regard Sajid Sir as family. He will always get priority in my career. His films come first for me.

You recently broke out of the ‘Nadiadwala’ comfort zone and delivered a thundering hit with Yash Raj Films’ War.?
War just took off to another level, and I’ve to admit sharing screen space with my idol Hrithik Roshan Sir was an experience I will cherish all my life. He has been an inspiration all my life. And to now observe him from such close quarters was a learning experience.

War is now a franchise. But since your character died in the film would you be a part of the sequel? 
All I will say at the moment is, you didn’t see my body in War, did you? There are many ways to manoeuvre the script to accommodate both of us.

The response to your suited action avatar in the Heropanti 2 has been overwhelming?
For once I am with my clothes on in the poster. I will be doing the fights in suits and formal wear for the first time. This time the action is more on the lines of Mission Impossible and James Bond. I am looking forward to getting into Heropanti 2.

What do you have to say about the action in Baaghi 3? 
When after Baaghi we did Baaghi 2 we made sure the action went to the next level. In Baaghi 3 we’ve taken the stunts up by two levels since Baaghi 2. It’s something I’ve never done before.

In Baaghi 3 you get to share screen space for the first time with your father Jackie Shroff?
It was an experience I was waiting for. The minute he entered the set all eyes and attention were on my father. And I was just so happy to let him be the centre of attention. He has a natural aptitude for attracting crowds and adulation whereas I am far more shy and happy to go unnoticed.

Jackie Shroff was far more laidback about his career than you? 
Those were different times. But even then, Anil Uncle (Kapoor) was hardly laidback. In today’s times every actor has to be on his toe constantly. I’m grateful for what I’ve got during my six years as an actor. I’ve to constantly keep working harder and harder to ensure I don’t lose the success that God has given me.

Any wishes?
To make my parents are happy. Nothing matters more than that.

The much-anticipated sequel Bunty Aur Babli 2, which has been completely rebooted and is set in today’s day and age, will have a scale that will wow audiences. The team shot elaborate film sequences across two Abu Dhabi locations, the Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club and Emirates Palace, using several areas of the hotel. twofour54 and Yash Raj Films (YRF) together released an exclusive image of the Bunty Aur Babli 2 hyped cast – including Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukerji, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Sharvari – on location at the stunning Emirates Palace hotel.

More than 350 cast and crew members filmed over 10 days smoothly with twofour54 providing Yash Raj Films with full production services across key areas including location assistance, travel and accommodation, and production management. Two interns from the creative lab, twofour54’s youth community, supported the cast and crew of Bunty Aur Babli 2 during production in Abu Dhabi. Interns worked across a range of areas including casting, production assistance, and locations.

Bunty Aur Babli 2 will introduce an incredibly fresh pair as the new talented conmen. Siddhant Chaturvedi, the’ Gully Boy’ hunk who played the role of MC Sher with elan, is the new Bunty and YRF is launching a new heroine to watch out for with this franchise. Babli will be played by Sharvari, a stunningly gorgeous girl that YRF discovered two years back and has been coaching her since then.

The film, in an exciting casting coup, also reunites Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji and will present them as the original Bunty Aur Babli in the film! Saif and Rani were a blockbuster pairing as they delivered big hits like ‘Hum Tum’ and ‘Ta Ra Rum Pum’ and were celebrated as a pair to watch out for given their infectious chemistry.

Produced by Aditya Chopra, Bunty Aur Babli 2 will be directed by debutant Varun V Sharma, who worked as an Assistant Director in YRF’s biggest blockbusters Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai.

Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra starrer Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar was announced quite some time ago and the film was supposed to release last year in March. However, due to various reasons, the film was delayed and now the film is finally set to release on March 20, this year. This Dibakar Banerjee directorial has been in the news for quite some time and the first look of the film is finally out.

Even though there were a lot of stills from the film released earlier, the first look features Parineeti Chopra as Sandeep Kaur and it looks very vibrant. Arjun Kapoor posted the first look with the caption, “Introducing my partner in crime, Sandeep Kaur urf @parineetichopra in #DibakarBanerjee’s #SandeepAurPinkyFaraar, releasing on 20th March, 2020! @sapfthefilm @yrf”. He also released the first look of himself as Pinky Dahiya with the caption, “Meet Pinky Dahiya urf Sandeep ka Faraar partner @parineetichopra #DibakarBanerjee @sapfthefilm @yrf #SandeepAndPinkyFaraar”.
