The Burning Train remake in works, Jackky Bhagnani and Juno Chopra to produce the film

Another remake is in works! The 1980 film The Burning Train that was a multistarrer is set for a reboot but with a twist. Jackky Bhagnani and Juno Chopra are collaborating and will jointly produce the film which was directed by Juno’s father Ravi Chopra and produced by his grandfather BR Chopra.

The Burning Train remake is set to roll later this year and will also be a multistarrer just like the original. The makers are currently finalizing the cast.

The film revolved around a train named the Super Express, that catches fire on its inaugural run from New Delhi to Mumbai. It was an adaptation of the 1975 Japanese movie The Bullet Train.

The cast included featuring Dharmendra, Hema Malini, Vinod Khanna, Parveen Babi, Jeetendra, Neetu Singh, Danny Denzongpa, Vinod Mehra, Ranjeet, Simi Garewal, Iftekhar, Om Shivpuri in the pivotal roles and music composed by R. D. Burman.

Milind Soman trends on Twitter after he spoke of his RSS stint as a boy in memoir

Model-actor Milind Soman, in his memoir “Made In India”, speaks about being part of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) as a young boy. Soman recalls going to the local ‘shakha’, or training centre, at the Shivaji Park in Mumbai. Baaghi 3 Box Office Collection Day 5: Tiger Shroff, Shraddha Kapoor’s action film fares well on Holi

Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi earned Rs 53.83 crore at the box office in its opening weekend. After a slight dip in earnings with Rs 16.03 crore on day 2, the film saw another spike in its box office collection with Rs 20.30 crore on day 3 and, the film did fairly well on Monday as it minted Rs 9.06 crore. With a total of decent Rs 62.89 crore, the box office numbers saw a good boost on Tuesday, which marked the occasion of Holi. Baaghi 3 earned around Rs 12 to 13 crore on day 5, taking the total box office collection to around Rs 75 crore, as per early estimates.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Deepika Padukone was last seen in the film Chhapaak where she played the role of an acid attack survivor. She will next be seen in the film ’83 as Romi Dev. She will be playing Ranveer Singh’s character Kapil Dev’s wife in the film. The film traces the journey of the Indian cricket team’s underdog victory at the 1983 cricket World Cup.

Mujhse Shaadi Karoge: Paras Chhabra responds to reports of the show going off air

Bigg Boss 13 that concluded a few weeks back was one of the most talked-about reality television shows. The contestants of the show became popular and even amassed a huge number of followers on social media. Contestants Shehnaaz Gill and Paras Chhabra not only made it to the finals but also bagged the show Mujhse Shaadi Karoge, where they are supposed to find partners for themselves.

Even though both Shehnaaz and Paras became popular through Bigg Boss13, the show could not get enough TRP and hence there were reports of the show going off-air. In an interview with an entertainment portal, Paras Chhabra said that the show is not going off-air and the TRPs have just started pouring in. He further said that his mother told him that people have started recognising her as Paras’ mother and they also remember her dialogue from Bigg Boss 13.

He said that the production is great as they keep coming with new ideas and concepts. He said that the show is not going off-air anytime soon. A confident Paras also said that he will take the show to the end.

On the other hand, in the recent promo of the upcoming episode, Shehnaaz Gill is seen breaking down and confesses her love for Sidharth Shukla. She said that her love for her Bigg Boss 13 co-contestants is the reason she is not being able to put in her 1000 per cent in the show.

Kartik Aaryan to act in Shashank Khaitan’s next with Karan Johar?

Has Kartik Aaryan given a nod to director Shashank Khaitan’s next? Well, speculations are already on, especially after the duo was spotted outside Karan Johar’s residence on Sunday night. While Shashank already has a long standing association with the head honcho of Dharma Productions, courtesy Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania. Kartik, too has joined the fold already with Dostana 2, the shooting of which is currently on. Now if the latest developments are any indication, the trio could well be coming together.

As a matter of fact, Shashank was supposed to begin work on Mr. Lele for Karan Johar soon enough. However, in a surprise development, it was recently announced by all associated with Mr. Lele that the film’s shooting had been pushed ahead and something new was planned between Varun, Shashank and Karan. While one waits to see what really comes out of it, for now it seems like something is brewing with Kartik instead.

Though there is no official confirmation yet on what is being planned between the trio, the fact remains that there are things being put on paper already to take forward the formalities. As for Kartik, he is currently shooting for Dostana 2 and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, and would soon be beginning work on his first ever action entertainer with director Om Raut (of Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior fame). All of this means that if he indeed signs Shashank’s film, its shooting would kick-start only later this year. As for Shashank, it would give him time to fine tune things.

Meanwhile, Karan Johar is already bracing up for the release of his next two films, Sooryavanshi and Gunjan Saxena – The Kargil Girl, which will be arriving within a gap of just a few weeks. With Shashank expected to kick-start his next with Kartik Aaryan now, one waits to see what and when does he plan his film with Varun Dhawan next.
